That's the thing I've realized with webcomic days. It takes so long for me to draw them that I think I forget how quickly people will read through them. A lot of action gets jammed into a short period of time.
... but then I remember that Dragomir's Diary is also a spoof of tabletop RPGs in some respects, and entire epic battles in those might take ten to fifteen realtime seconds.
